Alcove is a complex project that re-imagined a dilapidated historic landmark in Cincinnati’s Over-The-Rhine neighborhood into private event spaces, a full service restaurant and taproom, an outdoor patio, and a greenhouse bar. With the help of historic tax credits, this building has been restored to its former glory and has achieved LEED Gold certification. We achieved this through excellent partnshership communication, preservation of 99% of the original structure during construction, the use of high efficiency LED lighting, and the installation of high-grade air filters, C02 sensors, and VOC air quality monitors.
