  Safety Program
Safety is one of Oswald Company’s core values. Our strong commitment to job site safety is implemented through our Partnership with OSHA/ACI, our internal Safety Director, and our employees. Oswald Company has an exceptional EMR rating of .19, which illustrates how stringently we implement and adhere to our Safety Program.
Oswald - OSHA/ACI Partnership
Oswald Company is proud to be an OSHA/ACI Partner. Some of the criteria we meet or exceed to maintain this partnership:
- No willful violations
- All Project and Construction Managers have 30 hour OSHA Safety Training, and are also trained in CPR, First Aid, and BBP (Blood Borne Pathogens)
- Comprehensive, written Safety and Health Program
- Six foot fall rule
Safety Director
Oswald Company employs in-house a full time Safety Director who implements our Safety Plan by:
- Holding monthly Safety Meetings for all Project & Construction Managers
- Making unannounced, random safety inspections
- Leading an internal Safety Committee
- Managing a Safety Incentive Program
- Updating our Safety Program to current/new requirements
Oswald Company’s Safety Director is an OSHA Certified Trainer and a member of the Tri-State Safety Dialogue and ACI’s Safety Committee, both of which meet monthly. The Safety Director attends other safety-related professional development/training workshops on a regular basis.

On-Site Safety
Weekly safety inspections and safety meetings are conducted at each of Oswald Company’s job sites. The safety meetings are led by our Construction Managers and require all subcontractor superintendents to be in attendance. These superintendents then hold safety meetings with their employees to make sure that both OSHA’s and Oswald’s standards are met or exceeded at all times.
